Today Michaela and Valencia went for a walk with friends then a meeting at work. Valencia managed to sleep through the meeting.

Valencia gets to spend lots of time with Noni. Today she tried to crawl, started making some fun new noises and evidently said hi to the mail lady while they were out for a stroll. I'm not to sure about the saying hi part but she sure is growing up fast.

Today Valencia read a book titled Book. It's about all the different things you can do with a book. Including wearing it like a hat.

Valencia is getting better at controlling her hands everyday. Here she is putting a pacifier in her mouth.

Sunday Sunday Sunday

Pickin' up rings and putting them in my mouth. Valencia really likes her four hours out of the harness. She sits in her seat and even practices standing. It's hard for her to keep her legs straight so we help her out. Her legs are starting to get very strong.

Sooo sleepy

Valencia loves Saturday's with her mama. Today the went to Whole Foods and a few other places. She is into looking around at all the stuff and people so when she gets home it's definitely nap time.

Hello Aunt Bonnie

Valencia finally got to meet Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Larry today. It was a short visit but she got plenty of hugs.

It's football time

Valencia went to her first football "soccer" match today. Corwin played very well and it was a wicked close game. Plus she finally fits in her Ivory Coast shirt.

Cat nap

Valencia is really into taking short little naps throughout the day lately. Between her sleeping she had time time hang with Grandpa in his garden and chill in her chair during her harness free time. It's really fun to dress her in something other than a onesie while she's out. Check out this number from our neighbor Aunt Shirley.

Jabberwockee

That's what Noni is calling Valencia these days. She has definitely found her voice. Were not sure what she's saying but she's saying it loud and to whomever or whatever will listen.

Party on the island

Michaela's work had a party out on an island in Fort Collins today. Valencia had a great time seeing everyone and enjoyed her first boat ride with cousin Corwin at the helm.

Kinda sad today

This morning Valencia and Michaela went for a walk to the coffee shop and to pick up some flowers. On the way Michaela told her all about Grandma Marilynn who passed away this week. The funeral was today we celebrated her life and Valencia got to spend some much needed time with the Andersons. Love you all Ken, Liz, Kyra, Sember and Hank.

Baby massage 101

It's been a blast getting to meet all of the baby's and parents in our baby class. It's really nice to have all of these wonderful people in our lives and they have all been a great source of information to us. Since we are all doing this parenting thing for the first time it's nice to have this kind of support. Tonight we learned how to massage our baby's. Valencia really enjoyed it and took plenty of time looking around the room getting to know everyone.

Happy birthday Mama

It's Michaela's birthday so her work decorated the joint and Valencia got a new stuffed animal. Here she is playing with Drogba and Aubergine.

So fresh and so clean clean

Valencia really enjoys a nice bath. Have to keep those neck rolls clean.

Swap meet

Valencia's 1st vintage motorcycle swap meet with Mama and the boys. We didn't come home with an old bike this time but still had a blast.

Shopping with friends

In search of the elusive good deal on baby junk. I think a few other people had the same idea.

Fun day with Mama

A stroll in Fort Collins with friends. A nice book and lots of smiles. All together a fun happy day.

Valencia was to the Doc today for her two month check-up and some shots. She weighs 10 lbs 9.5 oz is 22 1/4 inches tall and her hat size is 15. That puts her right at 50% in all categories.

Fall is in the air

It was cold a rainy this morning so Valencia had to bundle up.

Off to work

Michaela's 1st day back to work went very well. Noni and Grandpa got to spend the day with the four phases of Valencia. Sleeping, happy, eating and mad as hell, in no particular order. After work it was back to the hip Doc who is very happy with Valencia's progress and said we can move her to four hours of harness freedom by the end of next week.

Don't worry Mama

I'll be fine and Noni will take great care of me. You job is very important and it's not fair of me to keep all of your love and compassion to myself. It will go by so fast and I'll be back in your arms before you know it.
