It was a dark and stormy night

Not really it was perfect Halloween weather. Valencia enjoyed all of the kids at the door and Corwin and Chloe stopped in to say hi.

Fun afternoon

Grandma and Da Blair were in town so we spent the afternoon hanging in old town.

Happy Birthday Jonah

Today Valencia celebrated Jonah's 1st birthday. She had a blast at the party and enjoyed hanging with her girl Vesper.

Halloween party!!!

bitter sweet

It's Valencia's last night in her harness. She has spent 3/4 of her life in that contraption and in a way I think she's gonna miss it.

Oh snow!!!

Valencia's first snow and it's a good one, almost a foot. We had to bundle her up for the ride to Noni's.

It's getting cold out

With the forecast calling for cold and snow Valencia and Abbot decided it would be a good morning to sleep in. Lights on, hair dryer going and the tv on they were both out cold. She hasn't even seen snow yet and has already decided to go into hibernation.

This all Valencia had to say after her first day back with Noni and Grandpa.

Better get you nap in now

Because Noni and Grandpa are back from Hawaii and something tells me your gonna be having to much fun playing the next few days to sleep.

Play date

This morning Valencia hung out with her friend Charlie and his dog Lulu. They spent time chatting about their lack of hair, the fact they can almost control their appendages now and how they both tolerate the constant bouncing and swaying they get when people hold them but still can't figure out why grown ups do that.

Pay attention

This afternoon Valencia had a talk with her stuffed animals. She wanted to teach them how to laugh and roll over. She not sure why but mommy gets very excited when she does either of them.

Shotgun

Valencia hung out at work with Papa for a little bit today. She liked looking at all the cars.

Papa took the day off work

You know what that means. Football "soccer" and motorcycles. Valencia may have also had a nap or three.

Thanks Auntie Sember for coming up to look after Valencia. She had a great time and we can't thank you enough.

Dinner Party

Tonight we had dinner with Uncle Daniel, Aunt Monica, Corwin, Cris, Laura and Chloe. Valencia had a great time and afterword wanted to show everyone how she can roll over. I guess she had stage fright because all she did was play with the blanket.

Hips don't lie

It was a big day for Valencia at the hip doctor. She has enough bone mass for an x-ray so we could really see how she's doing. Good news!!!! She better than expected and out of her harness except for at night. Two more weeks and she's out for good.
