8, 9 and 11

We celebrated the new year 3 different times tonight. 8:00 for Bacary 9:00 for Valencia and 11:00 for the rest of us. What a fun year 2014 turned out to be.

It was only 7 degrees outside but that didn't stop Valencia and Grandpa.

Valencia was on the pink team and she told me pink always wins. I was at work but I'm pretty sure the blue team won.

Merry Christmas

After waiting around for the kids to wake up we enjoyed a wonderful day. It was full of fun new toys, family and lots of hugs.

Christmas Eve

Valencia got to hold her own candle at church tonight. Enjoyed a Christmas hotdog and opened one of her presents. We concluded our evening by putting out some cookies, milk and carrots for Santa.

Self sufficient

Bacary is learning how to turn his own bouncer on and Valencia can make her own dinner consisting of nothing but pizza crusts.

Bacary has waited four long months to meet his Great Grandma. He thinks she's pretty cool.

Cookies and more cookies

Charlie and Beth came over and made some delicious Christmas cookies. Valencia and Charlie exchanged gifts and had a great time. Valencia is enjoying watching the neighbors dogs while they are out of town. The day was finished off when our lovely neighbor Shirley took the time to come over for a visit and brought some really cool light up race cars.

It mostly sounded like a bunch of kids yelling but was very cute. Valencia said she liked to sing "Police Navidad" and wanted a cookie.

Doctor and Christmas lights.

Bacary was in for his four month check up today. He's pretty tall, 26 inches and weighs in at 16 lb 12 oz. we finished off the day running around the park looking at Christmas lights with Charlie.

They are getting big

Bacary is already in control of the command center and Valencia is actually good help when it comes to making cookies.
