How to build a zoo

Valencia is getting very creative and her vocabulary is expanding. Some of the words she has been using lately are stabilize, demonstrate, extraordinary, actually and unconditional.

Bacary is growing up way too fast.

Valencia takes her cookie making very seriously.

Bananas

Bacary had bananas for the first time today. When we put the spoon in his mouth he would look at us with a look of why would you do that. Then he would smile for more.

I have an idea

Valencia was getting a little loopy today so Michaela busted out the water colors to make a sign for her bedroom door. Mama may have helped with the finished product.

Missing his sister

Bacary missed Valencia today so he played around in her tent till it was time to pick her up. She made up for it by taking him for a spin in the wagon.

School / find the Bacary

Michaela went to school with Valencia today and Grandpa played hide the Bacary with Noni.

Valencia got her school pictures today and Bacary wanted in on the action.

Noni day

Valencia and Noni pulled on a wishbone and Valencia wished for something really hard. We don't know what she wished for but hope it comes true. Then they took some time after dance class to check out some of the ice sculptures downtown.

Musical Zoo

We went to the musical zoo with Charlie today. The kids had fun listening to and playing several different instruments.

Bacary ate his seat straps for lunch and Valencia performed on her bathtub stage.

Papa Day

Valencia likes to watch cooking shows on tv and last week after an episode on donuts she asked that I take her to get one next Papa Day. She had a little round one and a pink one with sprinkles, I got a really big hug.
