Off to work

Michaela's 1st day back to work went very well. Noni and Grandpa got to spend the day with the four phases of Valencia. Sleeping, happy, eating and mad as hell, in no particular order. After work it was back to the hip Doc who is very happy with Valencia's progress and said we can move her to four hours of harness freedom by the end of next week.

Don't worry Mama

I'll be fine and Noni will take great care of me. You job is very important and it's not fair of me to keep all of your love and compassion to myself. It will go by so fast and I'll be back in your arms before you know it.

Ultrasound

Valencia was in to check the progress on her hips today. The left is looking pretty good but the right still has some work to do.

Practice

Michaela is heading back to work next week so we had a practice run this morning. 8:00am and Grandpa and Noni were ready to go. Thanks so much for taking such good care of our little Cia.

On the road again

Today Valencia imagined that she was traveling in a covered wagon with a few friends.

Hippies

Valencia also made friends with Finley. They were both rocking sweet harnesses.

Lots of babies

We had our 1st baby class tonight. It was fun to see everyone from the child birth classes we took now that all the babies are born. Valencia may have found her first boyfriend, Charlie.

Shopping & Lunch

After Valencia's fashion show we headed out to pick up a few things. Lovely afternoon in Boulder.

What are these and what should I do with them?

Valencia wanted to try on her new pony hair D&G kicks. It took her a while to decide where they fit best. She finally settled on her feet.

Wake up / go to sleep

Valencia makes very funny faces and movements when she is waking up. When she's asleep You can make all the funny faces and move her however you want and she won't wake up.

Weeeeeee

Today Valencia pretended to go down a slide. From the look on her face I'd say it was a fast one.

Welcome home Noni

Nice evening with Grandpa and Noni. Valencia enjoyed some harness free time.

book group

Michaela had book group tonight so I went along to do some shopping. They only had one Valencia left and so I snatched her up.

Valencia must be going through a growth spurt today because she was eating like crazy. And after she eats she's extra happy.

I want my mommy

Abbot and I were on our own for a few hours today. The first 30 minutes were great, followed by two hours of an inconsolable Valencia. As soon as Michaela got home, let's just say her shirt says it all.
