Valencia loves everything as long as its mixed with pears or bananas. She also likes to make funny faces and flash gang signs while she eats.

Party time

I can't believe it's been almost 7 months. Valencia is the oldest at the "all our kids are six months old" birthday party. It's going to get very interesting when they are all mobile.

Back to the book store

Valencia didn't have time to pick out any books the other day so it was back to the book store this morning. Some quality time with Vivian, then all the books she could eat.

Happy Birthday Abbot

Have you ever tried to get a 6 month old and a dog to sit still with party hats on? Abbot enjoyed his traditional B-Day salad and Valencia enjoyed the hats.

Book group

Valencia spent this evening at book group. She played with Vivian and Bill, tried to eat some books then fell asleep.

Valencia learned a new face from her Mama and has been doing it like crazy the last few days.

It never fails, we get Valencia to sleep then Abbot makes a noise and she looks around for her best friend. So tonight we had Abbot be part of her bedtime story. It went pretty well but I don't think they paid much attention to the the story.

Happy

Valencia took some time out of her day to just sit and be happy. Two minutes later she was over it and wanted something new to play with.

You can't teach an old dog new tricks

But an old dog can teach a new baby. Here Abbot is teaching Valencia how to crawl. You have to start low like an army crawl then.....

I don't think that Valencia really likes the taste of her feet. I think it's more the making it difficult to change her diaper she enjoys

Today Valencia helped her Mama make some fresh homemade baby food. She didn't like the sound of the food processor but sure enjoyed the sweet potatoes.
