Field trip at 2:30am

While playing with Valencia before bed I heard a little pop and crack in her arm. She didn't seem to care much and was still able to grip my finger with her hand. After keeping on eye on it for a few hours she just wasn't using her right arm to rub her eyes ...etc. So after a phone call to to nurse at Children's Hospital we were off to the ER. What she had is called Nursemaid's elbow. It's fancy baby talk for a dislocated elbow. The Doc popped it back in and a few minutes later she was good as new. He said it happens often and showed me how to correct it if it ever happens again. Let's hope I never have to.
